All Improv experience levels welcomed!

My Improv journey began in 2018 at university of Nottingham. Over the years I’ve trained under various networks across the UK and Online and branched into performance arts including sketch and stand-up comedy, audio performances and table-top role playing games. I’ve performed many graduate shows and been part of the Chick Peas Troupe performing online shows under the Her-Larious Network. See my Press for some performances.
I love performing Improv but even more so, I love teaching it!
I have been a guest trainer for Her-larious, and taught private small groups and one-to-one sessions in person and online.
Currently, I am a regular facilitator for Weekly Wednesday Warm-up in Leeds and leader of Monthly Online Improv Sessions for Leeds LGBTQ+ Community Consortium.
In my workshop I work with people from all experience levels and have been repeatedly told I fosterwarm and welcoming safe spaces for participants to laugh, learn and find community. See my testimonials for more quotes.
I am also in the centre of the Venn-Diagram between Science and Maths and Improv! I worked with experienced Science Communication trainer Justine Jones to deliver 10 week presentation courses which started with 3 weeks of Applied Improvisation for Confidence and Cohort Building for mathematics undergraduates at Imperial College London. I co-ran that program across 3 years to 40 students. I have since continued to offer Communications/Presentation training with Improv. Interested? See Hire Me for training.
I also runImprov Masterclasses for Science Communicators, and recently collaborated with Kat Phillips, from Kat Does Maths, on a bespoke session around improv exercises to help in live Twitch streaming.
I have also started an Online Network for anyone with ties to STEM who either does, or wants to do, improv. The mission statement is to bring together more people into and from the centre of Venn-Diagram I find myself in to use improv skills in their STEM work and bring STEM into our improv, all whilst having fun. The dream… one day create a long-form format within the network that temporary or permanent troupes of members could come together and use to perform in festivals and events. Dreams can come true… but they take work and numbers, if you want to be apart of the the STEM-Improv network, please join the mail-list for network development including online workshops, courses and jams: https://tinyurl.com/ywnk9hjt
